| Industry News: KartLift Kart Stands Debuts New Commercial Stand |
| |
KartLift Kart Stands to debut new Commercial KartLift Stand at International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Show. The IAAPA Attractions Expo 2012 will be held in Orlando, FL Nov. 13-16.
KartLift Kart Stands, known for its best selling lift stands for the race karting industry, has partnered with Formula K, Ltd. of Paw Paw, MI to develop a commercial duty rolling kart stand that has the capability of handling 650+ lb electric concession karts. This kart stand features heavy duty construction and a design that allows all types of maintenance to be performed on karts that are traditionally very difficult to move and work on.
KartLift President Tim Koyen explained how this concept came to be. “Rick Sexton of Formula K originally contacted me about building lift stands for his quarter midget, and after a demo and further discussion, we realized that there was an opportunity to use the same technology to make life easier for concession track operators, so we took those ideas back to the shop and set to work building the “lift-zilla” of all lifting kart stands. The end result is the Commercial KartLift, which is the strongest and most robust lifting kart stand on the market.”
Formula K will have the new stand on display in booth 2203 at the upcoming IAAPA Attractions Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. They will be taking pre-orders on site and are expecting to take delivery of their first shipment of Commercial KartLifts shortly after the first of the year. The stand will also be available through our extensive distribution network, as well as direct from KartLift.
KartLift Kart Stands has been in business since 1999 and has been the market leader in one person kart stands since its inception, essentially creating the market. KartLift now produces no less than 10 different model kart stands, ranging from the very basic scissor style, to the complex electric lifting models.
