| Track News: PGP Motorsports Park - Karting for Kids Grand Prix |
| |
Come out to PGP on Saturday, Sept. 29 to enjoy some exciting karting action and help underprivileged kids get the dental care they need as the Donald B. Weller Memorial Foundation hosts the first annual Karting for Kids Grand Prix to raise money for pediatric dentistry.
Kicking off at 10:30 a.m., this special day will include a Practice session and Heat race followed by a BBQ lunch catered by The Longhorn BBQ. You won't want to overdo it and eat too much of that great food, though, because the results of the Semi-Final immediately after lunch will be used to set the field for the two Main Events: one for the "pros" and one for the "slows."
After the champions are crowned in an appropriate podium ceremony, everyone is invited to the after-party at The Rock Wood-Fired Pizza in Federal Way.
Want to help out with this great cause? You can race and eat, or just watch and eat, but for either you need to RSVP no later than Sept. 17 to eric@lapsforlittleones.com . For each attendee, please indicate whether they are driving or dining. Invite your friends, family — anyone you think would enjoy a fun-filled day of racing while making a difference in a child's life.
The driver's minimum donation (includes lunch) is $165; lunch only donations are $15. Can't make it but still want to help? Visit http://www.lapsforlittleones.com and click the "donate" button.
