After a super weekend with seven wins at Pittsburgh Race Complex Top Kart was ready to continue their pursuit of the Manufacturers Cup trophy. Round four of the series was held at MRP Raceway, a track that the team has won at multiple times in past years.

Mason Chelootz qualified third for TAG Final 1 and went on to win the final, but was disqualified for his seat being 1/16th of an inch too low. In Parilla Leopard Chelootz was able to finish third in the final strengthening his point’s lead. Chris Wehrheim started the weekend off on the wrong foot qualifying in the sixteenth position in TAG Final 1, but was able to fight to a fourth place position in the final and thus taking the points lead. In Leopard Chris started thirty-third for the final and crossed the line in fourteenth when the checkered flew. Chris also finished third in TAG Final 2 using a P1 Engines IAME X30 engine and moving into second in points. Raquel Martinez decided to drop the Komet classes to focus on TAG. She continued her strong runs in the top ten with an eighth in Leopard and a ninth in TAG Final 2. Scott Ferris was the class of the field in TAG Masters and nearly swept the weekend, but a mechanical DNF on Saturday cost him a chance at the win after qualifying on pole. Scott was able to make it up to fourth by the end of Final 1. On Sunday Scott swept the day winning the last three out of four races since joining the TAG Masters class.

In the Komet Senior categories Chelootz continued his dominance sweeping the day on Saturday and winning the final by six seconds. On Sunday Chelootz injured his ribs before the final and had Chris Wehrheim step in as his reserve driver. With no practice laps and starting from last Wehrheim was able to work his way up to a second place finish.

Ryan Raffa had a solid weekend with three top ten finishes, his best weekend yet in his rookie season in the Junior categories. Unfortunately the Johnston Brothers and Killian Keaveny had a tough weekend with a lot of bud luck.

In the sportsman categories Kaden Harter continued having strong runs in the top ten with his best finish being fourth in Cadet Final 2. Lance Fenderson has his best weekend yet finishing tenth in Cadet Final 2 and eleventh in Yamaha Sportsman 2.
