| Industry News: Aluminos Forms Business Relationship with PSL Karting |

The Aluminos operation, known for their championship winning race team with emphasis on driver coaching and trackside support, has formed a relationship with Canadian-based PSL Karting to become the Northern California distributor of the world championship caliber CRG chassis line. Led by veteran karter Rob Soares, the company will further emphasis the CRG chassis brand throughout the California karting market.
Team Aluminos has built a very solid program since launching in 2007. Constructed around personal driver coaching and trackside support, Team Aluminos has become one of the largest and most successful race teams on the west coast. Lead driver coach Tom Dyer has earned two SKUSA SuperNationals victories under the Aluminos banner, driver and coach Fritz Leesmann earned the inaugural SKUSA Pro Tour S1 title, with other drivers adding victories and championships in the last four years, including the 2011 S2 Semi-Pro Stock Moto title. Team Aluminos has now come full circle with the addition of a formal relationship with PSL Karting and the full line of CRG products and service.
Soares is no stranger to the industry side of karting, having served as an importer under the KLS Racing stable for several years. “With my previous experiences, I have a keen insight to how to care for an extremely loyal customer base. That experience, coupled with a championship race team, has our company ready to take the CRG name beyond its current reach in Northern California. We’ve carried on a successful informal relationship with PSL Karting for the past few seasons, Fritz has been a longtime driver for them, and we have a number of customers that enjoy utilizing the CRG brand. I look forward to working more-closely with PSL Karting this season and in the future as Aluminos continues to grow.”
