| WKA Confirms Gold Cup Rain Tire Rules |

As a result of discussion regarding Gold Cup items this past weekend at the Board of Trustees Meeting, it was agreed upon that the new LO206 Kid Karts will not be permitted to run in the rain. Even if the weather breaks at anytime in the day and eventually returns back to dry track racing, once the decision has been made, it will remain that way for the balance of the competition day. Drivers in that class will receive rain points, which will be the same across the board for all competitors, and they will draw for their awards.
As for rain tires, it was agreed that the Jr Sportsman classes run the 4.50x5 Bridgestone Rain Tire Front and Rear, and all Junior and Senior classes run the 4.50x5 Front, 6.00x 5 Rear Bridgestone Rain. No exceptions.
All 4 Cycle Sportsman classes: Bridgeston 4.50 x 5 Front and Rear
All Junior and Senior 4 Cycle Classes: 4.50 x5 Front, 6.00 x 5 Rear |
