| Intrepid North America Confirmed for Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI, Powered by Rotax |

Intrepid North America, based in Stouffville, Ontario, Canada, announced its plans to exhibit in the 24th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, to be held the first week of December in Orlando. It is also fielding several teams in the Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI, Powered by Rotax.
"Intrepid North America is proud to be the exclusive importer of the industry leading Intrepid and Praga racing karts,” said Marco Di Leo, president of the company. “With the formation of the Intrepid North America entity and official racing team we are able to bring the proper support to all our Intrepid kart dealers and aspiring kart drivers.
“In 2002, Mirko Sguerzoni founded Intrepid to work alongside SKM, a factory that produces complete karts, not just accessories. He then started racing with his own team, and within the next 10 years, Intrepid went on to win all the most important titles in the world. Intrepid continues to expand at an incredible rate, reaching the top of the market in terms of the number of frames sold,” Di Leo continued. “The Intrepid Driver Program was founded in the wake of this success. The Intrepid Driver program is a program created to aid and guide young professional and extremely talented to the highest ranks of motorsports including F1. Intrepid North America will look forward to displaying the newest 2012 Intrepid and Praga models on site and on track through the Red Bull Kart Fight."
Gabby Chaves, currently competing in the GP3 series, will race for the Intrepid North America team in the Karter division of the Red Bull Kart Fight, along with Jesse Lazare and Di Leo. All three will be in Intrepid karts.
Entries by Intrepid North America are soon to be announced for the All-Star division.
The PRI Trade Show has evolved into a key annual gathering of karting businesspeople. Many of the top brand names in kart racing are among the 1100 exhibiting companies. Over 40,000 racing businesspeople from across the US, and 65 countries, attend the PRI Trade Show each year to shop the latest advances in racing components. It will be held December 1-3, in the North/South Building of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The exhibits take up 700,000 square feet.
The kart race will be held on Thursday night, December 1, in Orlando, in conjunction with the PRI Trade Show, which is the largest racing trade show in the world. The racing starts at 6:30 p.m.
Stars from NASCAR, IndyCar, ALMS, NHRA, Grand-Am and more come to the world’s largest racing trade show to compete in the popular kart race. The race course is a tight, technical, purpose-built race track adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center, housing the 700,000 square feet PRI Trade Show. The Show is December 1 - 3, 2011.
