Floridian pilot Ashley Rogero had a dominating weekend in the final round of the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturer's Cup. Taking place at the ultra fast New Castle Motorsports Park (NCMP) facility east of Indianapolis, Indiana, Rogero managed to score one pole position, one heat race win and three Grand National victories in four classes entered.

"It was by far my best weekend of racing in the 2011 season," expressed Rogero after the event was complete. "I was feeling good after taking a win at the last WKA round in Pennsylvania and it really helped to jump start my confidence as a rooking in the junior classes. I can't thank my sponsors and family enough for all of their support and hard work."

Saturday would be an almost perfect day for the up-and-coming female as she managed to claim the Yamaha Junior Lite and Komet Junior Heavy race wins. Dominating the junior ranks throughout the day, Rogero and her Comet Racing Engines powered Tony Kart were unstoppable on the mile long circuit as she claimed the pole position in the Komet division while taking home the heat race win in the Yamaha class.

Rogero continued, "We worked really hard on making sure that we had the best kart on the track. Small changes to improve the handling and horsepower really made it easy for me to get to the front of the field."

Sunday would be another great day for Rogero as she once again stood on the top of the podium. Out performing more than thirty other drivers, the Tony Kart pilot scored her third Grand National win of the weekend taking home the top honors in Komet Junior Lite as she stole the show scoring her fastest lap of the race on the final lap of the event.

Looking to score a quartet of wins, Rogero would come up just short in the Yamaha Junior Heavy class as contact early in the race would take her out of a solid podium position. Spiraling down the running order and nearly outside the top ten, the Floridian battled hard to earn a respectable sixth place result when the checkered flag had flown.

Ashley would like to thank all of her sponsors for all their hard work and continued support: the entire crew at Ocala Gran Prix, OTK USA, Tony Kart, Grand Products and Comet Kart Sales.
