| Championship Karting International Announces Manufacturer's Championship for WSK North America Series |

In an effort to reward the manufacturers that continue to support the CKI a championship has been established. The CKI Manufacturer's Champion will be crowned at the end of the season. The Championship will be based on the most wins over the entire season. A plaque will be presented at each race for the Chassis that has the most victories at each event.
The points will work as follows. The chassis with the most wins will win the championship. If there is a tie then the chassis with the most second place finishes will break the tie. Points are 1 point per Final win.
"We greatly appreciate the ongoing support of our race teams and chassis manufacturers. This is one way we have of giving them the gratification they deserve for helping our series and our customers," said CKI General Manager Kevin Williams.
At New Castle the first race of the season CRG garnered the most victories with 4. At Round #2 in Phoenix Top Kart came away with 7 victories.
