| Southern Winter Tour Championship Becomes an Official Rotax Max Challenge Series |

The Southern Winter Tour Championship series is pleased to announce a change in their program and that the series is now a Rotax Challenge qualifying series. All racers participating in the series will receive a punch each race day to qualify towards the 2010 US Rotax Grand Nationals.
The professional series is set to run a six race - three weekend program at MSR Karting in Houston, TX in January and February. National Rotax Race Director Marshall Martin will be the Race Director for the series.
Spec racing will be the theme for the program as the series is offering all six Rotax Max Challenge divisions (DD2, Senior, Masters, Junior, Mini Max, Micro Max) along with three Stock Moto classes (S3, S4, S5) and Kid Karts. With the support of the Rotax Max Challenge USA program, all participants in the SWTC series will be awarded their punches to be able to attend the Rotax USA Grand Nationals.
