Ribtect - Maxxis Tires
Ribtect is proud to announce their relationship with Maxxis tires and becoming the sole distributer for the Maxxis asphalt karting tire line. The now recently approved Maxxis MH tire for TAG USA competition is most comparable to a MG Yellow tire however not quite as soft with a durometer reading around 56. The Maxxis HG3 is slightly hard compound that feels similar to the Bridgestone YHC. The San Diego Karting Association is using both compounds in their series while the EP1K Sprint Series in California have the HG3 as their spec tire because of the high performance and low cost ratio. EPIC Inc. - N.O.C.C.
Introduced to the karting industry in January, EPIC Inc.’s Notification of Compromised Combustion (N.O.C.C.) has added a new feature to the system. The EPIC N.O.C.C. unit is now configured to connect to your MyChron 3 and MyChron 4. Upon imminent release of the AimSports firmware flash, users will be able to log their detonations along with their other channels on the MyChron gauge. The N.O.C.C. will flash all of the MyChron display alarm LEDs for each det count. All of the N.O.C.C. units currently being shipped come equipped with the connector needed to patch to the MyChron. PSL Karting - CRG Mini Kart
Over the winter, the CRG Mini Kart found much success at the Florida Winter Tour under the Canadian CRG importer - PSL Karting. Jimmy Cabrera piloted the chassis to three podium finishes in the Rotax Micro Max division and four in the Cadet category, scoring a total of two wins overall. The CRG Mini Kart is designed for the drivers in the 8 to 12 year old range. The 28mm frame holds a 25mm or 30mm axle with hydraulic CRG brakes, adjustable camber/caster and comes with the black anodized components and CRG sticker kit.
