SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13
The final day of action at the 2008 Rotax Max Challenge USA Grand Nationals presented by Mazda was put into the books with the Prefinal and Finals run under wet conditions throughout the day at the USA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin. After months of planning and with the great support of the staff at the USAIR facility and the Rotax Max Challenge crew, the week long event went on without a hitch both on and off the track. When the last checkered flag fell, six drivers were crown the Rotax National Champion and ten drivers were award spots on the America’s Team presented by Mazda to represent the United States at the Rotax Grand Finals in La Conca, Italy during Thanksgiving weekend.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
The grids are now set for the final day of competition at the 2008 Rotax Max Challenge USA Grand Nationals presented by Mazda at the USA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin. Clear skies with no rain allowed the drivers to put their dry setups back on and battle a good start in Saturday’s Prefinals.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
After a year of talk and nearly five days of preparation leading into today, the drivers at the 2008 Rotax Max Challenge USA Grand Nationals at the USA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin finally got down to business with Qualifying and the opening heat races taking place Thursday. While Qualifying got through without any weather issues, rain came through nearly halfway into the opening round of heat races. There were no real surprises on the day as the fast drivers remained the drivers to beat even though the weather threw a curve ball at all the competitors.

PREVIEW
To close out the final four months of the 2008 season, a stretch of exciting and large events North America has to offer will take place. Beginning that run of big races will be the Rotax Max Challenge USA Grand Nationals presented by Mazda. Teams and drivers have already made their way to the USA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin, site of this year’s event in search of the Rotax Grand National crown and in addition to earn spots on America’s Team to compete at the Rotax Grand Finals in LaConca, Italy at the end of November.
