    Hello everyone!,

I’ve just bought a CRG with a DD2 on it. I’d like to drain all fluids and replenish with new ones. First off I’ve trying to find a manual for the engine that can give me the basic guidelines on how to maintain the engine, but searched and searched and got nothing.(yes, I went to Rotax. com and nothing)

All I’ve found is something called “repair manual” which is ok to get to know the engine inside but since these engine have to be worked on a rotax centers is not what I’m looking for.

If someone has a manual or knows where to download it or buy it,  I’ll appreciate that info.

Rotax recommends XPS Rotax brand gear oil (150mm for DD2). I just can’t find it anywhere! not even online. is there any alternative the DD2’s guys are using.

Thanks again to all participants for your help.

I wish you twice as much of whatever you wish for me. : )

The only manual available to my knowledge, is the “Repair Manual” you can find it at this link.  http://www.srakarting.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/DD2_repair_manual_EN.pdf

Also check out this site, lots of good info.  http://www.rotax.com.au/technical.htm

    Thanks Steen,

I appreciate your help and BTW, I was able to find the XPS gear oil and at a decent price (For being Rotax).

If anyone needs the info let me know.

I have never seen a brand specified only ‘Engine oil SAE 15W-40’ and 150 CC. Same oil goes on a few other parts.

    Thanks for the manual Mike!,

I’m posting this link that may help other people in the future when searching the archives.

Steen passed it to me, I’m also attaching the link to a place that carries every screw of Rotax and all OEM fluids.

    Info at: http://www.rotax.com.au/technical.htm

    Parts:  http://store.nexternal.com/mrp/storefront.aspx

If everyone needs the manual Mike passed me, can send me a message and I’ll e-mail it to you.

Without helping each other we would all go crazy!

    Thank you fellows!

I wish you twice as much of whatever you wish for me. : )

I use B&M Trickshift transmission fluid for my DD2 gearbox. I tried full synthetic trans fluid but it was too slippery and the engine would rev up before the clutch engaged
