This week, the PRI Trade Show makes its return to the Indianapolis area. We look back at one of our favorite memories from the event.
In 2006, the Stars of Karting series and the PRI Trade Show combined to promote the first ever Snap-on All Stars Karting Classic. For four years, the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida welcomed thousands of motorsports members and fans to the PRI Trade Show, with the running of the karting event just outside the show doors. Hundreds of race fans battled what was typically a rainy night to watch some of the best in karting, and a number of talent drivers from the professional ranks, including IndyCar, NASCAR, NHRA, and even Formula One.
The race was split between two groups – Karters and Pros. Matt Jaskol and Buddy Rice were the inaugural winners in 2006. Below is the podium of the Karter division.
