Well by now I am almost finished with my kart. I am having a problem now that the kart stalls if rear wheels are not allowed to spin freely. As you know this dose not allow me to even idle the kart in a stopped position. I have a kt100 with a horseman dxl clutch I bought both engine and clutch together. No major alterations

When the carb is set to race on the track it won’t idle because it’s too rich. You need to start it then GO. If you want to run it on the stand you have to keep revving it.

The clutch doesn’t kick in immediately so you should be able to sit and apply a little throttle and let it run without the wheels turning.
