I’m trying to set up my Rok TT timing, However there are 2 marks on the rotor and i’m not 100% sure what one to use.

I forgot to take a picture of it, but found this pic on the web of a mini rok with the same stator and rotor.

One mark is a deep groove that goes about half way across the rotor, the other is a shallow line that goes all the way across the rotor. I found a spec of 0.080″ before TDC.

Can anyone give me some help with this? is 0.080″ BTDC the correct number?

    thank you

    Steve

Steve rotate it until it reaches the piston reaches top dead center. I havent worked on a RokTT before but I am guessing the long line will be lined up when the piston is at TDC. The shorter line will be when you want the ignition to fire, prior to it reaching TDC.
