    Hi

How long  does it take for race fuel to go bad in a 5 gallon plastic  fuel jug (not mixed with oil)?

same with the fuel tank on my kart , as i only race once a month or 2, how long is it ok for the fuel to stay in the tank ?

    Thanks

6 weeks jug, 2 weeks tank.

I am sure it would last longer in a metal can with sealed top? Like the one you get when  you buy race gas in a store.

If you’re worried, add Stabil or some other reputable fuel preserver/stabilizer.  Way cheaper than throwing out the gas.
