Well, kart racing is returning to South Park, Quincy, IL.  As a former South Park racer as well as other PKA events, I was glad to hear Terry Traeder is bringing back what his dad called “The Greatest Show in Karting”.  This venue is simply without equals.  I know that karting is in a new age from 2001 when this event was last ran.  That being said, I strongly encourage Terry Traeder to consider some sort of “flathead Briggs” nostalgia class.  Rock Island has it’s two-stroke nostalgia classes and Quincy should consider offering a class for the most mass produced racing engine of all time–the flathead Briggs.

Perhaps JT can comment on the LO 206 Masters and Super Masters, will it be open tire (compound & size)rule?  What about clutches?   What sanctioning body rules?  Been out of the sport a while–need info. Thanks, CMac
