You can register to race, purchase your reserved pit spot, even get an extra set of practice or rain tires – our online store at http://www.skusastore.com has it all! Our store closes for this event THIS COMING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND AT MIDNIGHT, so be sure to get what you need before then! The race is THIS weekend!

v CLASSES: There are some exciting changes for 2016! We are running these 11 classes all season long: S1, S2, S3, S4, S4 Super Master, S5, Micro Swift, Mini Swift, X30 Junior, X30 Senior, and X30 Master. All 1st thru 3rd place finishers in each class are eligible for trophies, and ALL drivers in attendance at the podium ceremony will be eligible for impressive RAFFLE prizes! v TRACK & VENUE INFO: Everything you need to know about this racing venue is posted on the VENUE INFO page, including directions, fuel availability, reserving a pit spot or camping spot, even the track layout! Don’t forget the $10 gate fee when you enter the Buttonwillow Raceway, which is in addition to PKC’s pit pass fees of $15 for a 1-day or $20 for a 2-day pass.
v DISCOUNT PRICING: Your BEST racing deal is to purchase OUR PKC ONLINE PRE-ENTRY PACKAGE – your race entry and mandatory PKC-stamped race tires at http://www.skusastore.com with a credit or debit card for just $325. This price is only good online before the cutoff of this Tuesday 2/2 at midnight. If you would like to pay by cash or check at the track, you can pre-register with our DOWNLOADABLE entry form and still save time and money! Just fill it out and send it to us prior to the 2/2 midnight deadline! A walk-up race entry is still available at the track for $160 (plus tires). Detailed pricing is posted on the Event Page.
v SPEC FUEL/OIL: The spec fuel is MS98 for all classes (C12 optional for the stock Honda classes), and the spec oil is Motul 2T Grand Prix. We no longer sell these products for our PKC events, so please plan to get your necessary supply from your local kart shop. The Buttonwillow TIRE & FUEL SHOP on site also now has these products for sale.
v ANNUAL SKUSA MEMBERSHIP IS MANDATORY: Don’t forget to purchase or renew your SKUSA membership, as an active SKUSA racing license is required to race! That can also be paid for thru our ONLINE STORE for just $75, and is good for a full 12 months. We will confirm your race number within 48 hours of receiving your application.
v COLORED NUMBER PANELS ARE MANDATORY: Per the information posted at http://www.superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/about/race-number-panels.html. Be sure to confirm your race number and letter designator with us BEFORE you order your panels!
v COMPETITION RULES: Specific rules for our series can be found at http://www.superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/rules.html, including a link to our latest SKUSA Rulebook online.
v TENTATIVE EVENT SCHEDULE: is posted at http://www.superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/event-calendar/round-1-2016.html?start=2. We will be handing out the final schedule on site on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
v PIT SPOT RESERVATIONS: Are highly recommended for this event. You can reserve a pit spot (just $30) or pay our small fee for camping on site (just $50 for all nights). Our latest pit map is posted online, and pit spots or overnight camping spots can be purchased at http://www.skusastore.com.
v HOST HOTELS: A few local motels have been set up with a discount on room reservations – just say you are racing with ProKart Challenge at Buttonwillow Raceway. That info is posted on our HOTEL page.
v 10-DAY WEATHER FORECAST: Is looking NICE (NO rain) – for now! Just in case, it’s always a good idea to have a set of the MG spec RAIN tires in your trailer! Ask your local kart shop, or purchase them now thru our online store.
