I have a birel and the throttle cable is exposed from the pedal back to about the center of the gas tank area.  I have a problem especially in left hand turn with my leg hitting the cable and applying  throttle accidentally.  It seemed like a poor design to have the cable exposed like that.  does anyone else experience this problem?  Are there any solutions available?

I move the throttle cable on all my Karts for the same reason.

I mount an L Bracket to the top front bar mount just above and behind the throttle and drill and tap a hole in it for the cable adjuster with cable exit angled towards the pedal as needed. I then route the cable sheath through the origna cable adjuster threaded hole to the new location.
