Just wanted to let fellow karters know that engine builder life long karting contributor Ron Knight has passed away on 2/15/16. Ron gave cancer a fierce battle just like he battled fellow competitors.   Ron raced himself years ago and in the late 80’s and 90’s raced with his step son Matt Schmidt, Ron Knight jr. and Aaron Knight..  They were fierce competitors in the WKA series winning many championships and countless races.  Ron loved the sport of karting and gave selflessly to many including myself and my son Weston Moon..  The karting community has lost a true innovative engine builder and ambassador to the sport!   He will be missed by many!  Race in Peace Ron…

That is three karting figure heads in about three weeks. Tough times, RIP Ron.
