Has anyone tried different nuts on the DWT Mag wheels? I’m not a fan of the distorted flange nut/washer combo and would rather find a suitable nylon insert flange replacement that can be bought in bulk. The typical 8mx1.25 nylon insert nuts from my Top Kart wheels don’t fit into the DWT countersink. The distorted flange nuts seem to wear down too quickly when changing tires frequently and also slowly screw up the threads on the hub.

Please post a picture of the nuts you don’t like

And another picture of your wheel counter sink, and I’ll tell you what’s up

I took the regular 8mm flange nuts and turned the diameter down on a lathe to fit my CRG wheels. You could use non flange nuts with very thick washers that won’t bend.

Thank you. I don’t have a lathe so I may have to go the thick washer route.
