These are touted as the low-cost version ($200-ish) of the OTK MXC wheel ($800), that they can keep the heat lower, and for longer, than the standard Douglas magnesium wheel.
Anyone have any experience with them? Do they perform as advertised?
I’ve back-to-backed them, and although the SEs are better at keeping the tire in the operating range than standard Douglas mags, the MXCs are still better.
They are a good compromise if you don’t have the huge pile of cash for the MXCs.
