Got some dowels in a case half that are very stubborn to remove. Heat didn’t do it so I took 1/2 each of ATF and acetone mix and am soaking them for the nite to see if that will do it. Any hints please? thanks chi wa wa
Clamp the pin in a big vise then twist a little and pull hard.
What engine is it, some pins were not meant to come out.
There are less expensive ones out there but here’s the concept of a dowel pin puller tool.
Giff, it’s a Leopard. The penetrating mixture didn’t loosen them so I put the cases together today without touching the case’s mating surfaces up on my granite block.
