Jay Howard’s Motorsports Driver Development kart team is on a rampage. Team driver Braden Eves is having a stand out year, the best of his career, winning at every level in Senior this year.

Last weekend Eves went on to a clean sweep for the entire weekend, claiming pole position in all 4 qualifying sessions, IAME X30 Sr and Yamaha Sr. He went on to win heat races and most impressive of all, continue his dominance by winning all 4 finals!!!!! So far this year, Eves was crowned SKUSA Spring Nats Champion, he has also won at USPKS events, now adding more WKA wins to his collection this season.

This is an impressive run, Team owner Howard commented “I said it before, Braden is very talented, he has a gift to drive fast. We as a team continue to work hard to better ourselves in all departments on a daily basis, we want more, we want to win everything. There is still more to come from Braden, I can only imagine how good he will be by the end of the year, he just needs to keep doing what he is doing”.

Eves in currently the SKUSA IAME X30 Senior points leader and one of the favorites to win the championship. Eves is also leading the WKA Man Cup championship and equally as impressive, is sitting second in the USPKS championship. There is still a lot of racing to go, but it’s great to be a contender for all these great championships, competing against the best of the best.

The MDD team is competing in the SKUSA Pro Tour, USPKS Championship and WKA Man Cup series. Howard commented “The goal is to win every race, every weekend, I have high expectations and will push all my team drivers to strive for perfection on a daily basis. I am optimistic for the remainder of the year, we will keep working hard to stay out front”.

The youngest team member Danny Dyszelski continues to improve in the IAME Rookie Swift category. Every event Dyszelski is a front runner, Howard commented “Danny continues to make progress, I was super happy for him at USPKS when he won his first national heat race, a big confidence booster for him. He was the youngest driver in IAME Micro Swift at USPKS, so it was impressive to watch him battle it out with the older kids. Danny had a good run at WKA Man Cup, constantly in the top 5 competing for the win, looking forward to Summer Nats this weekend”.

Jacob Abel joined the MDD team at USPKS for his first outing. An impressive start, running top 5 speed all weekend, almost getting his first pole position in IAME X30 Jr. Howard commented “We will build off of a great debut and carry the momentum into the SKUSA weekend, Jacob is a very fast learner”.

Returning to the MDD team is IAME Mini Swift driver Chase Gardner. Howard commented “Chase has been visiting me in New Orleans at the beautiful NOLA Motorsports Park facility getting some one on one coaching in, I hope to see some of our hard work pay off at New Castle”.

Fresh out of Kid Kart racing and on the MDD program will be Ayrton Grim. Grim was dominant in Kid Karts, now he will be working on learning the new Micro Swift category and developing his skills with the MDD team.

MDD drivers continue to improve, impress and represent the team in a way we are all very proud of. We strive to be the best at MDD, hard work and dedication.

If you are interested in being a part of the MDD team, MDD has Arrive and Drive packages available, or for drivers that own your equipment and just want to be a part of the team and receive driver coaching, data analysis, track walks, video analysis, technical advice etc, we offer this program too. MDD has limited team spots, once we are full we will not take on any more drivers.

MDD is not tied to any chassis manufacture, or any kind of equipment, all karts, engines, engine builders, tuners etc are welcome. MDD is strictly a program to develop the drivers, coach, educate and get the very best from the driver. Jay consults with engine builders and tuners with what he see’s and offers advice/assistance.
