Ryan Lynch Returns to Texas Motor Speedway with SS Green Light Racing
Texas native, Ryan Lynch, is set to make his sixth career start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in the Rattlesnake 400 at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday, June 10. Lynch will drive the No. 07 BlankHood.com/ #gokarting Chevrolet fielded by SS Greenlight Racing in his third visit to his home track.
“I was thrilled to get the invite from Bobby Dotter to run the truck for him again at Texas. We had a solid run in 2014 and I am looking forward to an even better race this time around. This SS Greenlight Racing team is an awesome group to work with.”
Ryan has spent the past season revitalizing the grassroots kart racing in his hometown as well as pursuing professional experience in road-race karting. The team will run the “#gokarting” logo to bring awareness to kart racing and highlight the opportunity for families to become active at their local racetracks.
“I began kart racing when I was eight years old, and it’s still something I love to do. Karting is a great, character building activity and is one of the best ways to get the entire family involved in racing. It was the beginning of my path to NASCAR and will always be a big part of my life.”
The Rattlesnake 400 will be broadcast live on Friday, June 10 on Fox Sports 1, MRN Radio and SiruisXM NASCAR Channel 90 with coverage beginning at 9:00 PM EDT. Qualifying will broadcast live at 6:00 PM EDT on FS1.
