ikart Indianapolis Announces Newest Factory Driver AJ Myers
On the heels of the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX event, ikart Indianapolis is excited to announce that it has signed its newest factory driver, AJ Myers. The ikart team, lead by owner and Team Principal, John Martin, will look to turn heads in a competitive field of drivers.
Martin added, “We are excited to have AJ back as part of the ikart factory team. AJ is a very talented driver and it is amazing to watch how he handles himself as an athlete on and off the track. As we grow and build our reputation, I am looking forward to continuing to build the highest quality chassis and showcase what it’s capable of on track.”
In 2014, Myers demanded attention at the Superkarts! USA SuperNational XVIII event where he raced against a strong field of shifter and Tag athletes. Building on his success over the past year, Myers is focused on leaving SuperSunday in the top spot for the S1 and KZ categories at the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XIX event in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 18-22.
Running two divisions will not only test Myer’s endurance but his passion and skill. Each class brings its own unique challenges and the more technical, faster layout will provide Myers an opportunity to show the karting industry the full capability of the ikart chassis.
Myers shared, “ I am excited to be a part of the ikart team again. I am looking forward to getting back in the chassis that will help take me across the finish line in front. The uniqueness of the ikart product is what is most attractive for me as a racer. Having different components such as 28 millimeter tubing that you don’t see on other karts is what sets this chassis apart from the rest. Racing in two categories is exhilarating and I am eager to have double the opportunity to win big.”
As the countdown continues, Superkarts! USA has once again earned its title of being the most elite sprint kart race in the country. With roughly 500 competitors from across the globe, Myers will look to showcase the ikart chassis capabilities and design on the 16 turn, 0.84 mile racing circuit at the Las Vegas Convention Center. As the event draws closer, ikart will be preparing each of its six drivers, racing in seven categories, for the demands associated with the new track layout. With the top three drivers in the S1 division separated by only 105 points, ikart seeks to publicize its exceptional power and caliber.
This marks a new chapter for the ikart factory team as AJ Myers joins double SummerNationals winner, Jesus Rios Jr. As the only American made chassis, ikart looks to demonstrate its superior product that is built to win with an unstoppable team of highly skilled drivers.
