Superkarts! USA and IAME Show Support with Prizes for Florida Pro Kart Series Winter Program

New website launched and registration now open as big prizes are announced for IAME Senior and IAME Junior

The inaugural Florida Pro Kart Series (FPKS) Winter Series is set to kick off in about two months time at the Palm Beach Kart Center in Jupiter, Florida, January 9-11. As the excitement builds, the series and its partners are hard at work. Together with IAME USA EAST and Bridgestone, the FPKS is proud to announce an exciting prize package.

IAME Junior will have one weight for both the Leopard and the X30 at 320 lbs. To balance the performance of the two engines, the Leopard will use a 28mm header while the X30 will use a 29mm header – WKA engine rules will apply.

“We are very pleased to have such great partners in the inaugural Florida Pro Kart Series Winter program,” explained Glenn Biggs, Series Owner. “Thank you to IAME, Bridgestone and now Superkarts! USA, our prize structure is coming together nicely.”

SKUSA Superkarts! USA logo“Superkarts! USA is happy to help Glenn and the Florida Pro Kart Series to grow this new series and to help get it off the ground and to grow karting,” explained Superkarts! USA CEO Tom Kutscher. “To spice things up a bit, we are extremely excited to announce entry, race tires and guaranteed starting spot for the SuperSunday main event in the IAME Junior and IAME Senior classes for two lucky competitors that will be drawn at the conclusion of the series between the top five finishers in both classes point standings. These competitors will have the opportunity to compete at the largest sprint karting event in the world, the 2015 SKUSA SuperNationals in Las Vegas, Nevada.”

While the winner in each of the two classes will garner the IAME International Finals trip with a travel credit, a third competitor will also have a chance to compete in France in 2015. A third drawing will be made for all IAME Junior and Senior competitors that compete in the entire Florida Pro Kart Series Winter Series. This competitor will also be awarded a trip to compete overseas.

IAME USA East’s Eric Jones added, “The Florida Pro Kart Series is a great way for IAME racers to start off 2015 with huge cash payouts, paid trips to the IAME International Finals, free IAME engines and parts, and even paid entries and guaranteed starting positions in the SKUSA SuperNationals final events! I don’t know anywhere else you can find awards like that and it’s great to see so much being given back to the karters.”

IAME Junior will have the following prizes:

Weekend Payout:
1st – $1000.00
2nd – $500.00
3rd – Set of Bridgestone Tires

Year End Awards:
Champion – IAME International Finals Ticket with $2000.00 travel credit.
2nd – X30 Engine Package
3rd – $1000.00 IAME Parts Certificate
4th – $500.00 IAME Parts Certificate
5th – $250.00 IAME Parts Certificate

IAME Senior will also be using both the Leopard and the X30, but will be using weight to balance the performance of the two engines. After carefully observing the different weights used between the two engines over the past two seasons, the FPKS has decided to have the Leopard at 355 lbs. and the X30 at 360 lbs. – WKA engine rules will apply.
