Red Line Oil Series Looks Forward to Large Turnout for Race Two

Red Line Oil Karting Championship logoAfter the largest turnout in series history, the Red Line Oil Karting Championship series looks for a similar turn out for Race #2.  The IAME Tag class will start their session this race, add in a few entries that did not run at Race #1 due to the threat of rain, and Race #2 should look to be another strong turnout.  The four junior classes all look to be much larger for NorCal drivers this year compared to 2013 with an expected entry of 20 plus in Junior Rotax and 15+ in Micro Max.

The track layout for this race will be the technical Sprint layout of the SimracewayInternationalKartingCenter track at Sonoma Raceway.  The feature GoPro class will be the 80 Masters.

The weekend will start with the Practice day on Saturday which will also feature two Simraceway Arrive and Drive classes.  All Red line Oil Series classes will be able to get in as many as 8 practice sessions during the day. Practice starts at 8:30 AM and runs to 6:00 PM.  Registration will open at 7:30 AM.  Practice is open to all drivers who have a kart that meets current karting safety specs and the drivers are up to normal racing speeds.  Cost is $50.
