Industry News: Italkart Releases Rapido V for 2013

The 2013 Italkart Rapido V

The evolution of Italkart continues in 2013, a year that brings exciting changes to the proven constructor. Both the bodywork and sticker kit have been restyled for the new model year. The new look of the kart is a fresh and more modern iteration of the previous styling.

The Italkart Rapido V is new for 2013. After extensive testing at various circuits across the country, Italkart is excited about the new chassis and certain that it will be a top performer at all levels of competition. The previous Rapido V was indeed, no slouch. Brazilian Andre Nicastro took Italkart to victory aboard the previous Rapido at the SKUSA Supernaionals in 2009 and 2010, a year that Italian Motors finished 1st, 3rd, 4th and 6th in the toughest category. The previous model also took Remo Ruscitti to victory at the SKUSA SummerNationals in 2012. Thus, the new model is an evolution of a proven winner – a kart that takes the best of its predecessor and adds improvements discovered over years of testing and racing.

Drivers and crew will notice the new geometry and frame layout which has improved the karts consistency over long runs. A newly redesigned braking system which features a large vented floating rotor for improved cooling. The back of the kart has been a area of focus as well with new adjustable cassette hangers and seat strut mounts for more rear grip to balance the geometry change in the front. All karts come with the new KG chain guard and full rear bumper. To read more about the changes to the Rapido V, visit For dealer inquires please contact
