Series News: Red Line Oil Karting Championship – Season Update

Winter is over, race season is here

In just three weeks, Red Line Oil Karting Championship series brings Race 1 of the Sanzaru Games NorCal Rotax Challenge to the famed Dixon track.

All Rotax racers, current and new, can get a head start on the competition by racing at this event. Dixon is great track to rebuild your race stamina and get a lot of laps over the 2-day race weekend. More details on the Dixon event will be sent out over the next two weeks.

New Sponsors and additions to Simraceway RLOKC events.

Two new class sponsors have been added to the RLOKC — RPE will sponsor the EVO kart class and JMJ Motorsports will sponsor the Rotax Junior class.

RPE develops the power package for the EVO karts. They will be offering ready to race karts or conversion packages.

JMJ Motorsports has been in the motorsports industry for 25 years and offers race design, preparation and strategy services.

We still have many great classes available to sponsor. Take a look , and I’m sure you will see not only the promotional value but also the financial benefits.

Simraceway “Arrive and Drive” and “EVO” Karts to race on Saturdays.

RLOKC Saturdays will now include these two race groups as well as open practice for the Sunday classes. The Saturday track hours have been extended to accommodate the added groups and still allow plenty of practice time.

The Simraceway “A&D” group is a great addition to our weekends as it will expose new racers to our series. The “EVO” karts have undergone a lot if development over winter and are turning some fast lap times! They also bring a whole new group of racers, fans and media to our series as this is the only series of this kind in the world!

New Track Configuration: Daytona RC

The May 11 race will be the first race run on the new Daytona RC configuration. This exciting new layout that will create quicker lap times, close racing and offer more passing opportunities. This will layout will also help us run more race laps on this one day event!

Class changes:
Junior 125 Stock Honda class added, TaG senior and KPV1 dropped. There will also be some small adjustments to the rules in some of the Molecule Karting Championship classes, look for this information to come out shortly. The Sanzaru Rotax classes will as usual follow the Rotax Max Challenge rules.

Rotax Micro and Mini Nola Invitational:
The Sanzaru NorCal Rotax Challenge will qualify a driver from each class for the Nola Invitational to be held at Nola Motorsports Park, Louisiana on September 13th -16th.
